Carden-Loyd MG Carriers (15mm)
« on: August 18, 2017, 02:27:36 AM »

These are some of my 15mm (1:100 scale) 3d-printed 1930s British Carden-Loyd MG carriers, printed by Shapeways in FUD resin.

This really was just a machine-gun carrier. It was possible to operate the gun from the vehicle, but the arc of fire was very limited and the crew very exposed — the gunner would have had to have exposed himself fully to change an ammo box. That thing on the port side track-guard is the tripod for the Vickers. I'll use the stats for the Universal Carrier, except that these machines can only carry the two crew.

The model is available for sale at http://shpws.me/OkRX

That's really nice. Print lines look minimal too.
