Frostgrave at Gen Con 2017
« on: 21 August 2017, 02:45:20 PM »
I attended Gen Con this past weekend and spent some time in the Osprey booth talking to some great people there.  First off, I got to meet Joe, and he's every bit as awesome in person as he is here on the forum.  Thanks, Joe, for taking the time to talk to a random fan of your games and for making your games awesome.

Anyway, I wanted to post some pics I took for Ghost Archipelago.  They are going to release the Heritor powers and Warden spells on cards, much like the original spell cards and the Ulterior Motives cards.  You can see the cards in some of the pics below.  Joe also said they were going to reprint the spell cards in the upcoming year.

He and the other worker there also sold me on Dracula's America: Shadows of the West and Zoo Ball.

Here's us trying to squeeze a 4-way game in on Sunday.  Unfortunately, we got the boot from Hall E before we even got the first turn done!  These are of My Highlanders (Thaumaturge) and my brother's Religious Orders (Sigilist).

Not the best of pics or lighting.  Sorry.

Popped fog on my first turn to prevent crossbow fire.

My Highlanders move forward behind the fog.

Barbarian, Apprentice, Thief, and Archer ready to move!

Brother moving his soldiers.

That looks great! Have You got a chance to skim through the rulebook? Perhaps You remeber some unusual monsters or different specialists equipement? I know it's just few weeks from kickstarter but I'm already planning what minis should I glue and paint

I came across this review on youtube:

Check out 22:22 for the Encounter Table.

Very shiny!

Great demo boards - this game is going to be great fun to create terrain for.

Docks, ships, and buildings, Oh My!
