Armorcast Hostages
« on: March 31, 2009, 05:36:36 PM »
This is the pack of hostages from Armourcast - currently available from Hasslefree in UK.

I painted them real quick (in one evening, IIRC) in January for a warehouse hostage game (link) I played with Combat Zone, but I completely forgot to take pics of the hostages at the time!

Just basic colours, a wash, and a tiny bit of highlighting and detail, followed by some protective varnish.

Your C&C is most welcome :)

Great Job.

I plan to use these as Captives/Slaves-objective markers for a post apocalyptic Fallout scenario.

Has that girl on the left really got purple hair?
Its not a criticism, just an observation. Nicely done, a useful batch of figures. :)

Thanks chaps.

@Malamute: Yeah, she really has got purple hair - I didn't photoshop it, or anything! :)  It seemed to fit the character of the girl as I was painting her.

I wanted to crank them out quickly, so I've re-used colour sets on across all five miniature miniatures and her hair is the same as the angry-looking bloke's shirt :)  Citadel Titilating Pink washed with CdA Super Wash Purple, I think.

Nice simple paint-work. I love these figures. I ended up getting two sets, one to base separately as you have, and one to base as a group.

My set went missing in the post so am glad the wait will be worth it after seeing yours . It will take a week for me to paint them though .

Nice job on these, especially for a quickie. I definitely need to get myself a set.
