Looks great so far.

Why 15mm?  Do you have a small playing space or just want a really big section of Mordheim?

Always loved Mordheim, so I look forward to seeing this project progress.

This is brilliant - and inspirational!

I think there are huge advantages to 15mm, not least in how much bigger a game you can get; even if you're still using the same number of models as 28mm, you get much more freedom and space.

Rob: on scaling different ranges: Alternative Armies' various ranges have quite a bit of discrepancy in scale, but they're good at flagging this up on the website. The HOTT range scale pretty well with RPE, I think, but I believe the dwarves from that range are very tall. AA's Asgard dwarves scale nicely with RPE dwarves, though. If you're doing GW-esque stuff, Magister Militum has lots of great stuff in that vein, especially in the Blood Dawn range.

AA's Tabletop fantasy range is larger than their HOT one - the former are RPG-style miniatures, the latter mass-battle packs.

I don't think that's quite right. The company says this on its website:

A note on scale in these classic miniatures. Asgard classic 15mm miniatures are larger than true 15mm scale and would be classed in modern terms closer to 18mm scale while the Tabletop TTF miniatures are smaller true 15mm scale.

I bought some of the Tabletop 15mm adventurers recently, and they're tiny. Even the smallest of the HOT goblins are bigger, and the biggest ones are much larger. The HOT goblins are also a lot taller than the Blood Dawn goblins - a kneeling HOT goblin is about as tall as a standing Blood Dawn one -  although they mix in fine. The orcs in the command pack, which are very different, are really big.

And you can see how tall the HOT dwarves are here. The Asgard dwarves, by comparison, are much shorter.

wow those dwarves are a real mix bag of scales.

I have some figures from QRF that look the part and go OK with the RPE stuff.

Nice!

I've recently got very interested in 15mm - because of the 'grandeur' of the scale in big battles (more figures), but also because of the smaller space needed for smaller battles.

How big do you imagine your Mordheim table will be for 15mm?

I suspect these individuals may not have noble intentions.

They look great!
