Great Northern War at the Grimsby Wargames Society
« on: 12 September 2017, 09:25:24 AM »
Saturday saw me have the good fortune to host a huge Great Northern War game at the home of large games - the Grimsby Wargames Society.  As well as the expected Russians and Swedes I used a host of Polish horse that had been painted by one of the talented members of the Grimsby Club (we are blessed with a proliferation of excellent figure painters it seems).

Two of the players had travelled from deepest Yorkshire for the game and one of them kindly brought along additional reinforcements for the Swedes - thanks Roger.

It looks like a terrific game, brings back memories of Peter Guilder's games RIP.

What a great cavalry clash! Stunning!
