« on: October 01, 2017, 07:05:16 PM »
some time ago, I had thought of making this vehicle, but had handed over this project for lack of motivation until a person whose name lol I will not ask me to make one.
so this is the thing

the cover is made with a sheet of magic sculpt spread with a roller one can also do with milliput, it is just necessary to prevent that the product sticks to the support when it is spread

With English not being the original poster's mother tongue, I'll say I believe what was meant was a Prairie Schooner.

Though I do wonder what prairie's are okay for wagons and which are best avoided?   lol

The canopy looks good but it seems to have seam lines along the top - maybe they will be cleaned up prior to painting.

Very impressive scratch build.

Your wagon needs greasing, your whip is to mend,
So sit down beside me as long as you can.
My wagon is greasy, my whip's in my hand,
So fare thee well darling, no longer to stand.
You'll shoot your eye out, kid!

All you need are some oxen, and that wagon will be ready to ply the Santa Fe Trail.

not English is not my mother tongue, but I think the term prairie wagon is correct. there is no join on the top of the tarpaulin ... it's just pencil strokes

no big changes today, I just added a few details, the drawbar, the tool box at the front, a little bit of filling will still have to be sanded, a small chest of drawers as a luggage which will undoubtedly be abandoned on the track at the first difficult passage lol

That's just a canvas paulin.  A tarpaulin is a canvas that was tarred, or covered with a waterproof black paint.  It looks great so far.
