Galloping imagination  :-*
Very aesthetic presentation!

Thank you both! :)

Today map's theme is Run!
I didn't make a true map this time, i rather worked on a more illustrative style. I still have to find my own style, but each experiment brings me closer, i hope.

C&C welcome! Especially in this case, since it's something FAR from my comfort zone! :)

Cheers

That works very well - dark and claustrophobic.

Those are really nice.  The maps themselves are excellent so the story seeds and illustrations are fine icing for delicious cake.

I've got a friend writing those for me, we are cross-motivating doing the two parts in synergy! ^_^

Yesterday's map - Shattered. I had to go to bed so here it is now:

Note the presence of smaller notes on the picture. It's an experiment, what do you think?

Synergy! The basis of many creative projects, as no one man can manage all!
I wish cross-motivation may drive you going on and up!
The last drawing reminds medieval manuscripts! Keep up the good job!

I think the smaller bits of notes work. I find the font quite hard to read in big chunks.

I like the way the picture and words draw you out from the main town, to the siege engines and other smaller items that aren't immediately apparent.

One small critique - I think the farmland looks a bit too pristine for a siege - I would expect more mud and cut down trees for a siege! But that is a small thing within the whole picture.

Indeed! I'm suprised myself from the constancy we're having here!! Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, i wanted to do something more chaotic, but it was past midnight already and i had to keep my sanity. Still, totally agree. :)

Thank you! and i'm not even half way!

Anyways, here's yesterday drawing! I'm sliighty behind my schedule, but i'm catching up!
I decided to experiment a little bit with shadows and brush effects (using a real brush, actually a Fude pen). with a quick stroke it leaves some very characterful marks, and i used them for the picture edges.

Let me know what you think! :)

Yesterday map - Fierce:
Here i took inspiration from a really cool illustration a friend passed me. I am not happy with the cross hatching, the rest is ok, i guess.

I like that one - again it has a striking central point that you see straight away (the main hall of the cave) but then rewards you with looking around at all the other details.

Really good series of drawings.

Thank you for the analysis! :) If you have suggestions for improvement - i mean also not in the drawing aspect, which certainly has plenty of room for that - please shoot!

Thank you Din! :) That was exactly the plan, i'm glad it's being appreciated!!! :)

Hopefully today i'll start with the one that was due, and tomorrow will try to catch up!

Number 15 - Mysterious! Nothing new in this one, just consolidating my techniques with stone buildings i guess.
