Pulp Alley AAR: The Lowdown
« on: 03 October 2017, 11:04:11 PM »

The leagues descend to base scandal-mongering, innuendo, and mudslinging in this decidedly déclassé scenario for the Vice Alley campaign setting.
Come and embrace the tabloid sleaze, your escalator down to moral turpitude awaits: https://imgur.com/a/NJhQG
Thanks for your interest!

Many thanks to Menelduir for the inspiration for this scenario and its gameplay innovations.

Another great report Rags!  I discovered your "library" of reports this time around, and look forward to sifting through some of your archives.

I am curious about the source of some of your minis.  Plot points 1, 2, and 5 (the digger, the photog, and the secretary), where do those come from?

Thanks for sharing, I need to get down and get my next report done up!

Hi Matt,
All of the plot points, and most of Bo Denton's AFP league, are from Fantasy Flight's line of prepainted plastic Arkham Investigators minis for their Arkham Horror game.  I treated myself to the set a few years back because I had absolutely nothing in the way of minis from that era.  They vary wildly in quality, but have been more than worth the investment since I started playing Pulp Alley about three years ago.
In fact, the main reason I brought the Cobra's Kiss into my Vice Alley solo campaign was so that it would contain at least one league that I actually painted.  lol

A wonderfully thematic scenario, wonderfully thematically described! Great fun to read!
