Zombie Outbreak in Townsville
« on: 22 October 2017, 02:38:50 AM »
This happened last night:

And, one of the zombies decided on a firedance on the beach:
NOT buying a 28mm WW2 army for the foreseeable. Deal with it.

Are you sure? They look like stock standard banana benders to me.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

The beings you speak of would gag at the eldritch sight of people having a kind of fun outside of a brothel or a bar.

Is that Bob Katter's son in the hat? I'm surprised Hanson isn't in there grabbing some free publicity.

You raise an interesting question though. How would you tell a bunching of shuffling, brain dead automatons from a zombie outbreak in the sunshine state?

The call would be for "beer", not "brainz".

And, since we're bashing the banana benders, the reason they drink XXXX is that they can't spell beer... :o

Nah, that's just a Queenslander practising their signature. Takes 'em four attempts on average.

Where is Townsville and what's a banana bender? It sounds very non-PC but I'm sure it's not.

Townsville is a 'city' in Queensland, a semi-colonial, tropical outpost in Australia. Its nominal capital is called Bris-Vegas.

Queenslanders are popularly known by the rest of the country as banana benders. Qld grows a lot of bananas. What the majority of Queenslanders actually do, beyond starting dodgy time-share plans and selling equally dodgy real estate on the Gold Coast remains a mystery. Queenslanders typically speak very slowly. It's believed that the heat and humidity is the cause. Think Arkansas.

Aww, did someone run over your puppy with an NQ Cowboys sticker on their tailgate?

IIRC the last time anyone from Melbourne came into contact with the Cowboys it was them that was doing the running over. Admittedly, most of them were Queenslanders too but the pool of people stupid enough to play league is limited.

Actually I love Queenslanders, especially the more regressive northern variety. An endless source of comedic gold. Then there's the impressive list of contributors to Australia's intellectual and civic life. Clive Palmer, Malcolm Roberts, Terry Lewis, Russ Hinze, Pauline, Joh, etc, etc. The list is endless.

On the other hand you did give us The Saints.
