Yikes! Those are a joy to behold indeed.

Lovely fleshtones and vibrant colours, very much looking forward to seeing more.

Spectacular. I keep meaning to get into 15mm, but you know how it goes.

Those are absolutely stunning - I've tried painting those figures myself and it beats me how you managed to achieve such a brilliant effect  :o

Seven more packs ordered... Sheesh... I am so weak-willed...  ::)

I think I need to resurrect the 'What's happening to Copplestone's Barbarica' thread, because I am wondering why no Pict command or characters have ever appeared, and I seem to recall that these along with 'fantasy Romans' were promised when North Star took over Copplestone Castings about a year ago, and the great man himself was planning to make a return to sculpting... Clearly it didn't happen...  :(

Yep. That's true, and they were promised even longer. It's such a pity that Mr Copplestone never finished the picts!

Wow, brilliant stuff Rich. I second your views on them, I really liked painting them as well. Wish I had time to do more.

Thank you guys.

Inspired by your enthusiasm, I have destroyed my poor old eyes a little more... Here's the next batch...

Three more Northern types - yes, I know the shamaness is skew-whiff. Not sure if this is the casting or how I stuck her onto the base. Anyway, in this miniscule scale it'll never actually notice on the tabletop. Irritating though  >:(

Five more Cimmerians. Essentially, in Robert E Howard, the Cimmerians are proto-Celts. Kind of Welsh-Irish as far as I can recall. So I figured tartan was okay...

This is the Cimmerian tribe so far...

And these are the Vanir / Aesir / whatever you call them - more barbarous hairy Northern types...
(Although, I actually think the figure 4th from the right, is meant to be an older, grizzled Conan... He reminds me of one of the Frazetta paintings of Conan in his later years... )

And the whole bally lot so far...

I now have the next dozen - including the first batch of Picts - primed and ready for painting, 20 more beyond that cleaned up...

Oh dear.

I think that'll be enough, no?  :)
