Crom! That's a great collection of Hyborian figures. Of course, Conan is the best of the lot...  :D

What game will you be using these for, Captain?

That’s brilliant! I have a goofy smile on my face every time there’s an update in this thread - such fun figure and great painting (and scratch building and boards and…)

I feel the same way, Captain brings the joy with all of his amazing threads.

Thanks very much  :)
I shall feel better once I’ve actually played a game with them  lol

Dragon Rampant with variations :)

Awesome! We already play Lion Rampant, Xenos Rampant, and Rebels and Patriots. It is only a matter of time before we give Dragon a go. Did someone say they're working on a hardcover 2nd Edition of the rules?

Thanks again!

There is a 2nd edition coming. North Star sent some pictures to Dan Mersey for inclusion.

That’s good news! I think Lion Rampant V2 did a pretty good job updating and tweaking the original rules, and a similar update to Dragon Rampant would definitely get my money.

I vote that Captain Blood also submit some pictures to Mr Mersey, to showcase what’s possible with the smaller sized figures!

We should work up some new rampant lists for Hornblower / Barbarica when the book releases, as a download (with some nice captain blood pics ofcourse ;-)

Yes - absolutely this.
Mind you, if DR2 is anything like LR2 or XR, then the authors may already have split the sample lists into 'eras' or 'settings' which may include something approximately in this area.

So good, if I didn't know otherwise I'd think they were 28mm.

Yep - these and the Hornblower miniatures are just great, so much detail and character that you can paint. The current wave of computer design coupled with traditional casting techniques have really made 15mm's a proper viable alternative to 28mm's even for small skirmish games.
