Cattle Raid - new scenario for Congo

Since I have enough terrain to play Savannah based adventures in Congo, I thought it would be an idea to put together some suitable scenarios. Here's the first attempt - Cattle Raid.

It was written for two African Kingdom columns but should work with others too. Let me know if you try it and how you get on. The initial set up may appear to favour the defender, but in our play tests the Cattle Rustlers won...

Looks good! Is the turtle a part of the scenario, or are they just your lil buddy?  :)

I knew the wooden chelonian would raise eyebrows! We use it as our initiative marker.

Table looks good and generally gets high marks.  However!  I cry foul.  Those cattle (which earn extra points) also detract (lose even more points I'm afraid).  Of course, time may have been short.  But primer gray?!  Oh, the calumny.  Paint those beasties, lad.   ::)

Yep, guilty as charged. Cattle not yet painted. But hey, i needed to write a scenario for them first ;-) One of the huts isn't finished either... But that one was burnt to the ground by the rustlers in disgust!
