Made from an old cellphone car-charger that gave up the ghost. The base is 2" by 1", and the driver is by Games Workshop.

That's quite bizarre, in a very likeable sort of way. It looks like it would fit into the retro Star Wars look of Episodes 1-3. Even better would be the Flash Gordon/Dan Dare pulp SF genre.
Excellent piece of lateral thinking with this model
