ACW- Brad Butkovich Scenarios?

His series looks great, can anyone recommend them? I'm particularly interested in the Shiloh and Chickamauga books. Thank you!

I've played one of his Gettysburg scenarios, own but have not yet played his Pickett's Mill book. If you want great ACW scenarios, get his books. They are rules agnostic, with guides for whatever figures scale you use.

I'd play more but most of our ACW gaming is more grand tactical.

I have the Chickamauga, Atlanta and Gettysburg books and I find them quite informative, maps are ok could be better, some of his maths is iffy. I would say get them, try Amazon and use the Books website low prices. What I did like was the various scales so you know how many more bases you have got to paint. I like them.

I have played some of the Chickamauga scenarios. However, I have found that playing at a level such as F&F Regimental the units often crowd out the table. Consequently I now play them using the Piquet Field of Battle 2 system, where every unit is only four bases, but each unit has its own profile based on strength, experience etc. I find this makes setting up the scenarios very much more straightforward.
