thanks very much for your valuable input
these old photos are a mine of information
been trawling through these sites and others
as you mention the Tonkinese Algeriens would
be a first.......the surface had been hardly scratched
on this period and has long interested me....
just had a quick look the images are crystal clear
especially the black flag standard guy!
