This is a picture of some of the MechSpiders that cast up as one piece molds. I'm getting some of these in to bring to ReCon in Florida next weekend, then we should have them on the Comfy site. We will also be running a painting contest to help us pick the "offical" color scheme of the MechSpiders.

We will be selling them for $7 a piece on our web-site. Shipping to the UK is only $5 from here. This should make it very attainable for everyone. I was talking to Arcane about replenishing their stock recently. If they are interested in carrying these I'm sure we can work something out.

The weapons will be along with the spiders. The molding of them are alot easier so the production company and I are not shooting pictures back and forth about them.


As an FYI, when we release the spiders on the web-site we won't have painted pictures up right away. We plan on having a contest where people paint a spider in a color scheme they like and we post it. Then viewers will vote on the colorscheme they like best. The winner will get a gift certificate from the Comfy Web store (amount to be determined but probably around $100.00) with free shipping. So keep your eyes and ears peeled!

I recieved 30 of the inital production pieces and they look great! However........ Like any miniature gamer, I am a stickler for certain things. There was a small problem where the metal "gated" into the mold and it left a sleight absence in some pieces. It looks like a chip of sorts. Also the spinnerettes were very thin and could bend easy.
I had the prototype made again and thickened up the spinnerettes so that is no longer an issue. I also had them send me the legs seperate so they could be cast up seperately. A little glueing will be needed to put the legs on, but it's no big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Thing is I now have 20 of the original 1 piece models left. SO, I'm going to make an offer here that is a one time thing. Go to www.comfychairgames.com now and go to the "contact us" area. E-mail me and I'll sell you one of the now limited edition 1 piece models complete with all the weapon attachments for the $7 price I quoted initally. To be clear, these are still very nice pieces, but the 2 minor issues will nag at me so I'll fix them before they are released offically. The seperate legs will also have a longer mold life.
