28mm Moses Ambulance ACW
« on: 18 December 2017, 06:31:52 PM »
Continuing project in 28mm ACW. The original model was to heavy (materials too thick) so I started two more with lighter construction. The Moses had a deployable tent, so I built one half in paper to try out the size and spacing.  One model will have the tent in place and one with some horses for movement.  Regards, Rob.

Looks great so far. I always enjoy your builds. I think that the tent is also very interesting and would like to see more.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Some progress...its only been about 6 years...its a journey, not a destination...

In the group shot the upper left is 3D Printed.   https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4615067

The units with the rolled tents will be horse drawn and those without will be tented.  One unit has metal wheels, others are 3D printed. The Buff tent has yet to have its roof installed and both tented need terrain fiddles.   More to come...(hopefully within 6 years!)

That is beautiful work, although my brain wasn’t paying attention when I clicked and was originally looking for a moose powered ambulance  lol

Keep up the good work

Absolutely incredible modeling skill! I've never done an in depth study of ACW ambulances, but I'd never even heard of this vehicle. Thank you for sharing your discovery and your fantastic talent!

Beautiful clean modelling of a subject that isn't often seen!

The wagon/tent combo makes a lot of sense for a field aid station setup.
