Nassau troops @ Waterloo.
« on: 19 December 2017, 10:07:52 PM »
After a long time, I finaly got my Nassau brigade finished for Quatre Bras.

I dont know how to put pictures here, but if you go to https://miniwargamers.blogspot.be/2017/12/the-nassau-project.html
you can find the all.
I only have to paint two artillery pieces and two commanders and I got all the Dutch-Belgian troops ready that were at Quatre Bras.
Finaly I can call myself a proper wargamer I guess...  :)

Your guys look great. I only have 4 battalions of Nassau troops, 12 15mm figures each. But I consider myself a proper wargamer. OK, maybe sometimes improper...

With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Thanks for the nice comments.

I'm currently working on two more artillery bases and two bigade commanders, and then consider my Dutch-Belgian force as finished.
Pictures will follow when ready!

Looking very nice. But they will need some cavalry - To chase down your enemy whey they run form the might of your stoic infantry!
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

It is rather easy to post photos here: Press the quote button instead of reply to my reply and you´ll see what I typed.

Great work on the Nassauers. If I were born where I was back then I would have been one of them from Usingen.  :)

Unfortunately, those two light infantry regiments was all the cavalry there was at Quatre Bras!
(I'm thinking of adding a heavy cavalry brigade for a fictional campaign)

@ Michi, thanks for the help. I'll see if I can remember that, should I want to post pictures in the future.
