Alex, thank You for all your hard work and support for this community. This positive and helpful place is a precious rarity and one I appreciate deeply!

Nick, thank you for taking on this burden and responsibility. Please take good care of it and preserve what makes the Lead Adventure Forum the preferred haunt of many of us.

Thank you Prof for doing such an amazing job here on LAF. I've not been a member a long time compared to some but have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I'm on here daily as there is such a wide variety of things on offer.

I would just like to echo everyone else’s sentiments! Thanks for creating and maintaining one of the best places on the Net!

Through this great site I’ve made many new friends, learned a great many new things and been inspired to take my own projects further than I could even have imagined! The level of conversation, modelling skill and just general friendliness is always high on here! And all of that is due to the major part you’ve played in creating and running this forum!

Again, just a big THANKS from me and everyone!

Btw I take you will still be an active member, just not moderating anymore? I would hate to have to miss your regular entries in the LPL!

Thanks to the Mods and in this case of course to Alex for making the best miniatures forum out there. Good luck with your future endeavours Alex. I hope that you will still be an active part of the forum.

Good luck to North Star Nick too. I'm a fan of North Star products, so I'm hopeful that some of the positive approach to that side of things continues in the management of the LAF.

Prof; I'm sure this is getting repetitive at this point, but many thanks for creating and maintaining the best miniature games forum on the internet (and that's not an exaggeration!)

I was a long time moderator on the Bolter and Chainsword forum (before I discovered a whole miniatures universe outside of 40K), so I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into running a forum of this magnitude.

And I can completely attribute the opening of my eyes to the greater miniatures hobby to LAF.

Also, I have all confidence that Nick and his team will keep up the same level of excellence that LAF is widely known for.

Oh; and hopefully we'll still be seeing your awesome paintjobs being posted here; they're always a pleasure to gawk at and a sure source of inspiration.

A hearty thanks and best wishes to Nick for assuming the mantle. I'll try not to get in the way or track in dirt during the remodel.
