A small update. Everything is now stuck together with the
Flagstones and kerbstones now etched into the plasticard. I’ve also added a Victorian Postbox from OSHIROmodelterrain, to break up the line of sight along the alley.

Next up will be some more cobblestones (yes, setts) and the wooden fence to the pub yard (where it incorrectly says “wooden store”) and at the back of the shop, after which those areas will be gravelled.

A bit more progress with fencing and gravelled yards added to the pub and the shop. Plus cobbles to the small section of road that can meet up with the rear exit from the slaughterhouse.



Next steps will be:

Doors, windows and a gate
Roof tiles
Gap filling

Then rather than getting on with painting I might start assembling tiles 3 and 4. Though at some point I also have to start prepping my entry for LPL ROUND 7

what size is the over all piece ?

Not massive but it’s meant to be busy rather than vast, so all the buildings are accessible on each level. My preferred rules are from the FfoL family, which smaller tables can cope with.

As a starting point, I’m working on (with a few buildings still to get) 6 full plus 2 narrow tiles plus road sections. That gives approx 110/120cm x 70/80cm, depending on the road layout.

The six tiles are:

Slaughterhouse
Pub and shop
Residential terraces 1
Residential terraces 2
Graveyard
Police station, pub & 2 shops

Then there’s also the two warehouse half tiles.

This is definitely a good thing. It'll also mean that the modularity of the various tiles will look less structured. Another good thing I'd say.
