AAR - A Visit to The Governors House - TGAA
« on: 03 February 2018, 05:01:40 AM »
Okay first game played in TGAA (The Great Antipodean Adventure) campaign!

The scenario featured a Mob of Unionists in a drunken rage deciding to pull down the National Flag from the NSW Governor's House and replacing it with one of their banners...they enter the gaming table from the north edge, they must brush aside any Constabulary they encounter and exit the south board edge with their banner and continue onto the Governor's House.

It was a game of movement as the Mob only had 10 turns and they were victorious but a a terrible price! Almost two thirds of the Mob that entered the north edge became casualties, the professionalism and experience of the Police the encountered proved that in the long run the Mob would need more than enthusiasm and a belly of beer to prevail!

Turn 4 and two as gangs of Unionists reach the Gate House and face a section of Coppers...despite the Mobs numbers they are held and a drawn melee ensues, this carries over to turn 5 and the Police are finally overwhelmed.

Turn 5, a Section of armed Firemen arrive and immediately deploy in an attempt to cover the Unionist scooting around the Constables!

Turn 8, Bruce Smith bearing the crucial Amalgamated Engineering Union banner exit the south edge surrounded by jubilant Union members! Off to the Governor's House lads! Victory to the Mob...
