Demise of "The Guild" WW2 wargame site
« on: February 16, 2018, 11:30:17 AM »
Did anyone manage to "save" the WW2 KGN/Battlegroup reports and scenarios before the Guild died or is it a case of hunting the Wayback Machine.
Would be a shame not to have some of that content available, especially the Kampfgruppe Normandy stuff.

There's a new forum set up dedicated to Battlegroup at http://battlegroupwargame.forumotion.com/, and they're getting a lot of the old info from the Guild boards up there.

Also, there's the Wargamers Forum at http://www.thewargamersforum.com/, which was set up in response to the disappearance of the Guild, and covers much the same range of topics.

Although I'll miss the Guild and all the information that was on there it's encouraging there are 2 in its place which are very active already.

Oh I am sad that the Guild has gone. I was a member there for a good few years.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
