Fine looking battle.
Colorful period to game.
The Sikh army was well trained and could have won a number of battles.
Sadly they were let down by their leaders.
I fine it interesting that you used TSATF rules.
Do you about a set that Larry wrote, pre Sword and Flame?
Battalion level set covering Napoleonic to Franco Prussian War.
It is the set I use for my Indian Mutiny games.

Trying to find the right set of rules has been difficult, I was trying to find something that combined gameplay with the right period characteristics but without any luck, in the end as I mentioned in the AAR I used Flames in the Punjab as the basis for my rules and had to write the rest myself, so:
Movement distances, Firing and the idea of cards for deciding sequence was from the rules however I altered them all to reflect how I wanted to play.
Melee and Morale was written from scratch. 

I am afraid I don’t know of the set you mention but will have a search on the web.

Chassepot and Needlegun are the Franco Prussian wars rules written by Larry Brom.

For those of you who didn't get a chance to see it at SOAS in London last summer, the fab Sikh gun howitzer circa.1838. This pattern was used in both Sikh Wars and examples were captured at Sobraon and Gujarat. This particular piece was given to Lord Gough and last exhibited in public in Dublin in 1853. Yours truly gives the low down on the piece in a gallery talk

I saw some Sikh Guns at Woolwich in the '90's. I tried to do the Sikh wars in 15mm from Fuedal Castings. but it didn't go far due to not finding rules which I felt gave a good replay of the battles.

I did restart the project a few years ago with the release of the Black Hat range. I had at one point prior thought to sell off the figures, but am very glad I didn't.

Rules wise, we tried Volley & Bayonet, but I felt it felt like Napoleonic's with Indian figures. (Hardly surprising)
A few years ago my friend got Field of Battle 2nd Ed. and we've been fine tuning them. They feel really good to me how units can go forth but be unsupported by their mates, etc. All the small things which you read about from the histories.
I keep playing different versions of battles based on Mudkee or Aliwal.
I'm hoping to next try a version of Ferozeshah but by going with Gough's original plan before Hardinge stuck his oar in. Have Littler's division show up later as per historically.

I've attached pics of one of our battles inspired by Mudkee, using 15mm Black Hat and QRF (now, the old Fuedal Castings) figures.

Thanks to everyone for the rules idea updates.

In the meantime I have increased the forces from 500 to 650 figures and more guns so I am keen to get them back out onto the table unfortunately I am no longer convinced that my home made adaptions work as well as I would like so I have some new possabilities under consideration.

Fire and Fury v2 
Koenig Krieg v4
Over Malvern Hills with relevant bits from Over the Hills

All these ideas need some further consideration so I have nothing usable yet to post .

Also might want to consider Bloody Big Battles - they are similar in some ways to Fire and Fury but one thing I like is they used a 2 d6 die roll rather than 1 D10. A better curve. The rules are designed for large battles not skirmishes and with the size of your collection now, you fit the former not latter alright.
