Awesome!  :o

Ever since reading Chaim Herzog's "The Arab-Israeli Wars", I wanted to do that specific piece of modern warfare. Recently, I saw the movie starring Charles Bronson on the raid (there are more than just one).

I?m really looking forward what you?re going to create.

Great idea as usual.
You always seem to do projects that are right up my street.
I will look forward to seeing your progress with this one.
Have your got suitable planes for the airport?

No Planes and I don't plan to get any either but maybe something will turn up in the future that's suitable. There are planes available of course but size and cost makes them non starters. I will probably look around for some models of small planes, one or two of them will be enough for flavour, the passenger jets can live in the imagination just off table.

Great stuff.  :)

I can't think of anyone else who would purposefully find fuzzy photos to use as reference - top tip!

So cool! Very instructional - never would have thought of the blue acetate. It is a fantastic looking building. I look forward to the rest of the project.

Construction continues...

The original for comparison, as you can see i've shortened the buildings for space considerations.

Added the radar tower, painting it tonight and then moving on to the ancillary buildings before tackling the control tower.
