Totally inspired by "Kelly's Heroes", I'm sure the smiley's eyes were first seen in a comic, just struck as making the face look mad, suitable for character of Oddball from the film. Even the blue bucket and I think the red blanket (long time since seen film though I ave always loved it need to watch again) seen on Oddballs tank along with speakers etc. The reason for Oddball's tank/mech is that the only figure in my spares box (SAS jeep driver) that fitted looked like him with the addition of greenstuff long trouisers and tankers hat. The Lute I had from Reaper (needed violin for another model) and thought it suitable for the hippy nature of Oddball and his crew.
