Thanks gents  :)

Wow! Amazing. I wish the Emperor would personally oversee that a whole legion of his stormtroopers would be sent to your tabletop! lol

Seeing as a legion of his best troops got taken out by teddy bears I think they didn't do too bad  lol
cheers

James

Lovely setup Jim
Do you use any house rules or do you just use the rules as they are?
Do you use vehicle rules?

Cheers fellas  :)

No house rules (I think) and we used psyonics for the Force. No vehicles this time but it’s getting to the point where I want to use them so will be going from the Galactic Heroes Vehicle Manual and altering to fit.

Seeing as a legion of his best troops got taken out by teddy bears I think they didn't do too bad  lol

Please, sir! It was cannibalistic (!) teddies with a strong warrior code, excellent knowledge of the terrain and pretty good preparations for an all out war.

Rumors have it that all former anthropologists sent to Endor simply got eaten, and that before the Empire forced the different Ewok tribes into an Alliance there was all out war!

Just think about it, these guys managed to amass an army of several thousand (?) teddies in a couple of hours, had aerial attack gliders and huge traps ready and didn’t cease their attacks when casualties started to rise!

Probably they could easily beat a Space Marine chapter and wipe their furry butts with the sporadic predator stupid enough to land on Endor!

So, nothing new for this project but I did promise the Admiral that I would go through my old photos that were lost on the original thread.

First up is one of the first buildings I made for Mos Eisley; Sousan's Starship Parts and Repairs. The main construction was made from 10mm blue foam based on 3mm hardboard. The texture was a mix of filler, fine sand, paint and glue (although I've changed the recipe since then). The whole lot was sprayed with Halfords khaki brown, given a thin wash of something of a warm brown nature (really can't remember what it was lol) and then heavily drybrushed up through some tans to almost white.

The dome is just a plastic one (polystyrene could be used as well, it's just I had plenty to hand), the brown box is a left over lift over run from a job from years ago and the yellow 'buttresses' are just large chunks of another type of foam. The scraps and parts are from my extensive bits collection that I've been hoarding for years and years and just randomly picked out.

The intention was to do the interiors as well and that is still the case, so once we come back to Mos Eisley in our games they will probably get done.

In a few days I'll get some of the other building pictures sorted and post them up  :)

cheers

James

Thanks chaps  :)

Unfortunately,  it would seem I've lost more photos than I thought but there's still a couple of locations I haven't looked through yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks  :)

Here are some more of the early Mos Eisley wips. Same principle as the first one shown and I’ll post some better photos of the painting process in a few days and hopefully some wips of the scatter terrain.
