I really love that off-white light green panel. Nice little detail ;)

Cheers fellas  :)

Here are the wip shots of the T-16 that was done ages ago. It was drawn in cad and cut from 0.5 acrylic and then layered up to allow for the panel lines etc. Serious gubbins work on the engine and underneath.

It isn't an exact replica of the film version as I wanted a personalised one used by a engine jockey in the Beggars Canyon races. The wings fold though so it can 'land' (although how it does that is still debatable).

What a great ship, shame it was not highlighted more in the movie.  The Star Wars radio play made it really soar.

As always, I love the model.

What sort of glue do you use when building these creations?

Thanks gents  :)

What sort of glue do you use when building these creations?

Basically Plastic Weld for plastics (acrylic and styrene etc) and super glue for the other stuff. I’ll occasionally use a bit of wood glue but not often.

I need to take some decent photos of the T-16 but for now I've finished off building this little beastie and got a coat of primer on it.

It's a Kuat Drive Yards Stellar class freighter although there's nothing really stellar about it; it's a proper piece of junk  lol

The cargo is magnetised and I'll be doing some other types of container that will be going in the catalogue in the New Year.

Interestingly, it can also pass for 1:144 scale. Here are some Bandai kits alongside. I'd need to magnetise the ships and also make some tubes for the TIEs like that are on the Gozanti cruiser...

It'll carry four TIEs or two rebel ships (three if they are A-wings). It might even carry a Falcon but I haven't got the 1:144 Bandai Falcon yet

The possibilities are endless  lol

That's bloody excellent! It really looks the part. It really does work at the different scales too.
