Glad to see you back with us. Always a treat to see your work. I'll cross my fingers to see some reports of The Black Order battles in the future.

They look excellent. Nice work.

An imposing Oathmark as well.

Thanks a bunch, guys!

Put together a couple big ol' dire wolves on 50mm bases to run as Barghests in Oathmark, or Wargs in The Ninth Age. It's a challenge basing models to be appropriate for multiple games systems, but it does give you options.

Who makes the metal one of the two? The other looks like the Reaper one and it blends with the Fenrisian Wolves that I've been using as Dire Wolves myself for D&D and keep wanting more similar ones to fill things up for something else

They'll look great. (And I echo, who makes the metal wolf?)

As above, am interested in those dire wolves  ;)

Trouble is everytime I look at your thread it makes me think of other things I can add to my own project  :D

Thanks guys! Sorry, thought I'd said but obviously forgot to...The metal wolf is from Mierce Miniatures, specifically their Anglecynn line. I think, however, it's been resculpted and there is a new miniature in its place now (but same pose). The other is of course Reaper as SotF rightly guessed.

I've been rebasing a lot of miniatures recently to go on magnetised movement trays - I've been finding some of the Sarissa trays I bought previously had shrunk due to PVA glue warpage, and increasingly, as I switch back and forth between game systems, it's tricky to find trays which fit a multitude of systems. So with magnetised minis on flat, lipless bases, I can switch on the fly pretty easily. Here's a couple rebased units:

I’m glad you’ve rebased them, just so that we can see them all again!  :-*

Superb kitbashing in every respect.
