pigiron GW crossovers

i posted a test figure sometime ago, here are the rest of the squad, ive added various bits from other kits, like the guns on some which are warzone, the officers pistol and bare hand are from a heroclix figure, and ive made some backpacks to look similar to the pigiron ones, in the rear view pic of the backpacks the 1st is pigiron the other 2 are what i converted. hope you like them

The GW Cadians are very nice models [I've been tempted to buy some] but your Pig Iron etc additions have really improved them immensely.

Nice job MS - those PigIron helmets look excellent.

 

Are they purely Night-vision goggles (the fact that the mouth is covered seems to suggest they are a bit more than that)?

If they are some sort of sealed helmet/gasmask, might be an idea to paint the hands as gloves, otherwise a dose of biotoxin/nervegas will  put all that work to waste.

Have to agree there, bloody lovely, wasn't sure how those heads would work but very impressed.

(And would definately work as NORT trooper from 2000AD's Rogue Trooper

But then I've been fannying about with these for bloody ages and still not got a bloody single sodding mini painted!  This weekend I WILL get my Halo inspired ODST/cadian crossovers started.

(Little bit of background here: you can thank me for getting Pig Iron to sell those heads separately I badgered them years ago, pimped their wares all over the shop...end result everyone's happy and I get the occasional freebie too! Result).

Those are very nice! I just ordered 10 packs of various Kolony heads to use on my new Cadians, and I am very glad to see they fit so well!

A couple of those chaps are sporting Warzone 2nd Ed. weapons, no? I see at least one Bauhaus assault rifle, and is the fellow beside him holding an Imperial AR?

Played a game last week using the Chain Reaction 3.0 rules and Pig Iron Heavy Infantry vs. some Warzone 2nd. Ed. Conversions at a local game shop that is big on GW and AT43. The little piggies were turning heads in the most pleasing fashion!

Those are really nice conversions. Those Pig Iron heads look really nice. Those,with the colour scheme make them look like a pseudo WW2 British unit. I might get some heads to convert the Warzone plastics I've got.
