Militia in hunting shirts with round hats as they were called at the time. These are from Brigade games miniatures. I had heard good things about them. Nicely cast, tall and slim .They fit in well with my figures from Knuckleduster miniatures. But a little more expensive.

Uniform wise they would work for almost any campaign. So they are ultra useful. I really like the look of the militia officers in their fancy uniforms. Very militia like.

Flags are based on actual New York militia flags. Could have used a single flag, but I like the look of two better.

I like 'em. They're a bunch of real Yorker Jahnke Dudels. I think I see Jahnke's nephews, Pauli Dudel and Walli Dudel picking their noses in the rear ranks. The flags are outstanding. Hurrah For Free Trade! Sailor's Rights! And a Big Piece of Canada!
You'll shoot your eye out, kid!

Very nicely painted American militia. Yes those BG sculpts are outstanding.
BTW; I really like your blog. It is good to see more War of 1812 gamers displaying their soldiers.

I have two regiments of the same figures painted as Maryland militia for Bladensburg.
