Mad Scientist Needs a Home!
« on: 15 May 2009, 12:12:11 AM »
Howdy, Y'all!

I'm not from around these here parts and I am looking for some help.  I'm from your typical Wild West town except now this creepy old man who claims he's some kind of doctor has arrived on the most recent stagecoach.  He's renting a room at a local saloon until he can find a suitable home in town. . .

. . . can anyone recommend a nice 25mm/28mm building for a Mad Scientist character?  I'd like it to look like a Victorian mansion, I think.

Or another card model, "Shellendrak Manor" in 28mm from Worldwork Games.

It has full interiors, with many different options.

Would something like this work?

I made it up a long time ago for the Deadlands folk out of spare pieces. I'm sure I could whip up another.

I love the Disney Haunted Mansion paper kits, but I was hoping to find something similar in an actual building.

My last paper mansion was destroyed :-(

Skrapwelder, that is an awesome house!  Love the tower and the gargoyles!  :-*  That is def along the lines of what I was looking for. . .

If you were up for building your own you could always use the paper models as templates and construct it in something a bit sturdier.
