Hi guys!

I have just updated my blog with an impressive miniature from 1990,  Marauder Miniatures Giant (Part of Citadel) I am quite please with the end result after a month painting him..

You have more info and "tutorial" here:

https://spanishleadpainting.blogspot.com/2019/06/marauders-giant-warhammer-monster.html

I bought it second hand in April, and I could not resist painting him soon afterwards, in order to be the center piece of my Orcs & Goblins army, or the main antagonist of a Warhammer Quest adventure!

I hope you like it!

Saludos !!!

That giant is the nuts  8)

I’ve only got a flesh base coat on mine, I’m too afraid to do any more on it and you’ve just made me not want to do it even more  lol

Nicely done It's a heck of model to paint .You were braver than me I chickened out of a multi coloured tunic and went for a leather tunic. So hats off to you.
It's quite a chunk of metal like James I got a base coat on the flesh and realised it was a lot bigger of a paint job than I'd given it credit for.
So I can definitely appreciate the effort it took to finish.(and so nicely too. )

Superb thread.  Classic minis painted in a nicely classic style.  I say that as someone who never particularly liked that giant.  It does show how timeless the basic original Warhammer Fantasy minis were though.  It also explains why there are so many random Kickstarters going back to some sculpts of that style.

Love everything in this thread.  Keep it up!
