We had a very productive play test yesterday. A group from the Mid-America Wargamers plus Wendel gathered at my house to play test the rules. It went very well and resulted in some details to be added to the  rules and play aids. Hopefully I will get these nailed down by the end of next week and we will be ready for another play test after the holidays.

Any new games with the village buildings and terrain?  What figures are you using?

Thanks

CC - We just finished the last play test a week ago and the rules ( home grown) are complete. I am registered to run two games at Adepticon in March (sold out) and two games at Little Wars in April.
As for the figures I have an assortment. Old Glory - mostly for the Bandits, Knuckleduster - The Magnificent Seven and some casualty markers, Dixon - Bandits / Villagers and few I cannot identify the manufacturer. I have added a few beds and a table and shelving for the cantina. Might add more interiors if time and mood permit.
Take care and thanks for asking.

That sounds like a fantastic lineup!  Have a great time at those events, and don’t forget to share pics.

So, have you taken closeup pictures of your painted figures, starting with the 7 heroes?  I’d love to see which specific figures you picked to represent them.

Thanks

Dan

Omg, Greg, those look fantastic!

You even painted their outfits just like the film.

What make are they?  Did you hav to modify them much?

Thanks so much.

These are from Knuckleduster. No modifications needed. Gorgon also makes a set but the figures really do not make it easy to match up the figures with the characters.
Thanks for the compliment and take care.

I was not aware of this line from Great Escape. They are nice figures but I am not fond of the way the hats are sculpted. Thanks rumacara.

I wish Forrest would release another Mag Seven set in his new Gunfighter's Ball range.

I agree. He looks to be releasing the sheriff from El Dorado played by Robert Mitchum. Looks pretty good from the computer rendering.

Seconded, I think we should lobby him to do them?
