Simon, did you see the Perrys arab civilians?
They might be easy to transform to indian civilians.
At least some.

Thanks all- some useful suggestions there. The Empress Oxen really are the dogs bullocks (I'll get me hat).
Lead Asbestos- no I'm looking at Classical Indian; Poros and whatnot.
Best, Simon

I have to second Dave.P and suggest
Indus Miniatures Religious Men
. Although they may not be in the poses you like, and they are holding weapons, they are definitely Hindu. If necessary you could do a hand swap if you don;t want them carrying weapons cut

You could try Westwind Miniatures, Romanov Holiday, Mad Monks, they do look Very Mad, if you cut off the weapons/Cross and replace with hands, they do not have hoods on the robes, very hairy, and again very mad looking, plus only £6 for 4.

There is a local gift shop that sells Indian votive charms of various sizes from about 1" to 6" and larger. What do you think the statue should look like?

Naked Viking Berserkers might also be an option. Or look at Foundry's Spartans. Some are bearded, nude or semi-nude.

Foundry also does Egyptian priests praying. Only they are bald and wearing robes.
