Yeah...they bug me too. I realised that if I ever want to play War Of The Ring I will need to lower my standards to get enough figs finished. Hence, no filling and only minimal trimming and detail work. All in all I think they will look O.K. when there are 100+ on the table...

Well, they look good when there’s "only" six of them  ;)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Both entries are nicely painted and both instils me with equal measures of nostalgia. I think I have to go for the DAK since it is technically harder to come across as well with 20mm in a competition against 28mms.

Very tough call but in the end the DaK won because the first group shot just looks very convincing. The scenery, the vehicles and the models, it all fits. The wargs look really good too but could benefit from better lighting and the Wag necks bug me. A tip for those: instead of filling them with epoxy putty fill them up with Vallejo Plastic Putty. It's an acrylic paste that you can just squirt on the gaps to fill it, takes no time at all and it's perfect for such small cracks. You can't model it very well but it still looks better than a straight gap.

I got mine in a tube from EM4 but I think most stockists of VMC have it.

Thanks, I had the feeling my German wouldn't be flawless :) Goes to see what you can learn from participating in the LPL. It's more then painting and photography! :)

This is the kind of stuff you don't learn from looking up words in a dict and I am sooo glad this silliness doesn't exist in English as otherwise I'd most likely totally suck at it.  :)
