My Blitz Bowl / Blood Bowl Paintings
« on: 18 November 2018, 08:27:54 PM »
The very first minis game I ever got for myself was Blood Bowl. I loved it! But I haven't played it in nearly twenty years. I decided to grab Blitz Bowl for some light fun, and remembered how much I used to enjoy Blood Bowl with my friends. So my first BB minis in about 20 years, the Rottfurt Roughnecks are ready to take to the Blitz Bowl little league field!

Thanks. Working on the next minis to flesh them out to a full team. Then I'll get some orcs done for them to actually play against.

The Roughnecks have now developed from a Blitz Bowl team to a fully fledged Blood Bowl team now they've acquired a few new players (and a little extra muscle!)

Hey folks. Thanks for that. Really nice minis to paint I must say.

The red is Khorne Red with an Agrax Earthade was then Wazzdakka Red trim.

I got Blitz Bowl when I was in New York a little while back, from a Barnes and Nobles. The guys at the local GW were super helpful to and dug out an old White Dwarf with the Dark Elf cards too which was really kind of them.

Thanks. Glad you like them. I'm a pretty messy painter at first and then neaten things up. I find the hardest bit is just getting all those base paints on, so I just slap it on then neaten everything as I go. Just working on the orcs which are lovely, if awkward to get to minis.

Very very nice! As a fellow lover of Blood Bowl I always love seeing painted teams, and I must say the latest edition of BB has been excellently done by GW.
