Where do the mindflayer figures come from?  I don't recognizze that version, and your paintjob makes them look pretty cool.

They, like a lot of my lead mountain, date back to the 1970s/80s.
I think they are from Grenadier, but I could be wrong.
Rogue Stars started me delving into said mountain, and
Galactic Heroes will lead to a veritable avalanche.
Thanks for the nice comment by the way.

Great stuff - I love the exotic flora!

Those mindflayers are from Citadel's 1980s AD&D range. They look great here!

Excellent! Much thanks to the wife for assisting in our viewing.

REALLY impressed with the purposing (repurposing of 'garbage' seems wrong) of the banana bits!

Yes many, MANY, thanks go to my long suffering wife. She will not throw ANYTHING out
without first asking me, "Do you want that for spaceships?"
She did not like the Matrix films, especially the 3rd, where she was not impressed to
find out that god was 'Col. Saunders from KFC!!!!' When I said I quite liked the film
she said, "You were only interested in working out how to make (the Sci-Fi bits)
from the insides of old washing machines."  She knows me too well.

Very nice scenery. Did you seal the bannana stalks? I also very much like the bits that look a bit like melting polyhedral dice.

Roj, only with paint did I seal the banana stalks,
but they were left for a couple of weeks to fully dry out.
If by melting polyhedral dice you mean the blue bits next to
the 'pillar' on the right. They were a purchase at the first ROBIN show
(man was that COLD!) I have only fairly recently painted them, and nice though
they are, I have too few. I bought some of their (sorry don't remember the
name of the manufacturer) alien plants & Sci-Fi figures, the figures have a
equipped from a disused junkyard look to them (in some/one photo)
Thinking of selling the plants at Hammerhead 'Trade at Table' in March.
