Brilliant - been thinking about 10mm East Africa as my new project this year, so very timely inspiration!
Lovely bases too, very effective.

How do you find painting the figures? only thing which holds me back on 10mm is, well, they seem so small (but I used to paint 6mm).

Which figures are you going to use for European/colonists? I've been thinking some of their Boer range might work for non-uniformed volunteers.

For the British and Empire forces seems to be lots of options in the Middle East range I think.

I found them small, but now I prefer them to 15s. They paint up easily and look good.

For the German Schutzen companies, the white colonists,  I've mixed in a variety of stuff, boer war British, as some photos show Germans in the old style pith helmet, boers, Australian light horse, british middle East infantry.

I'll have photos up soon, I'm doing a series of posts on my blog to cover the whole collection, and I may also make my black powder mod available for download there, so keep checking in there.
