I seem to say 'these are the best yet' everytime new figures appear, but these really are the very best yet..!

I remember there was some mention that photojournalists may make an appearance somewhere down the line; I'd love to see Dennis Hopper's Apoc Now character get added to the ensemble  (My fantasy four pack of photog figures would be: Hopper, Burrows, Leroy & McCullin)

What about Tim Page? I once got offered his used set of web gear. My offer was about £4.5k short of the asking price.
And maybe Dickey Chapelle or Catherine Leroy.

A whole range of combat journalists maybe.

Love the film based sets, really great likeness.

Well you could end up with loads of fantastic photographers, I went with four as it's a standard figure pack size. As side from particularly liking the work of two of them, each has an instantly recognizable look & two of them were also at the battle of Hue (Leroy already included).
I'd picture McCullin in USMC kit, flak jacket, M1 helmet (no helmet band) a brace of Nikon F bodies; Leroy in fatigues, head band/scarf or plats with a couple of Leicas and shorter than the others; Larry Burrows, again in fatigues and boots, with glasses, scarf and at least three cameras down the front and one over his shoulder. As for Dennis Hopper, just as he appears in Apoc Now, drapped in Nikons, but with the head scarf/bandana not the bush hat as he'll look to much like 'Chef'.

Apocalypse Now PBR  crew is spot on.  I will definetly have a boat with them in it.  Not to be too greedy but will, there be a more generic crew as well?

Yeah we will probably do a standard crew although looking at the pictures they look a similar bunch of pirates.

All this messing around in boats plus Vietnam is no good. It’s got me teetering on the cusp of buying a 1/700 HMAS Perth, for which I really have no earthly use. I suppose I could plonk it at the end of the driveway as NGFS for my marines....

Can we have a ‘not Alan Partridge’ as an alternative crewman? I think Warlord do some dead cows and I’m sure there must be suitable irate farmers in miniature out there somewhere.  :)

Will one of them be John Kerry?

Ok, I’ve been watching the outstanding drop rate of figures for this range with drooling interest and will without doubt be parting with my cash after our current real world crisis ends.  However in the meantime I have an enquiry / figure request to Empress...(forgive me if it has already been raised)....any Chance of adding my all time favourites to the range namely MACV SOG or specifically at least one figure similar to this guy with a chopped down RPD?

There is a great documentary about the making of Apocalypse Now. Maybe this helps Paul. I think the daughter of Coppola made it.

Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse.  Started as behind the scences footage by Eleanor Coppola (Francis Ford Coppola's wife), grew into something even larger. Fantastic documentary
