The ILR squads come with LMG & Grenade Launcher options. This is because an ILR section is normally 14 strong in two squads, one is equipped with LMG and the other with Grenade Launcher so having both in the box allows you to build either squad.

After I posted that I re-read the introductory scenario where it mentions the set has both (and you can choose which you use).
