Nice. How do the Eureka match up sidewise with the Empress figures?
I have quite a few of each.

They are compatible though Empress is taller and thinner and Eureka is a bit meatier.

Mixing them is like mixing Dutch and Italians on an American diet (though fit, not fat).  Same scale but two different body types.

I hope that helps.   ;)

Yep the Eureka Vietnamese civilians are smaller but quite compatible size wise with the Empress Vietnamese, especially if you think of typical size differentials with females and stooped over old men. They are old Mike Broadbent sculpts like the rest of that range, so not exactly Paul Hicks or Kosta’s level of sculpting but quite serviceable. There’s another female in non la carrying a baby and IIRC one with a bicycle if you want variety

Bugler bloke has got my signature 'Igor eye' look; just wondering if the penant on the bugle should be sporting a yellow star?

They're well painted figures! Even if the intro is set during the Indochina war, the bugler does remind me a bit of said intro to "We were soldiers" with Mel Gibson. Quite good! Might have to get one to set against my french paras.  :)

 lol

I realized when I visited the Empress site. Though, now I'm tempted to get both, one for my Viet Minh Indochina and the other for Vietnam Vietcong.

Picked up the helicopter gunners, just because they looked so cool. As I have no helicopters in this scale, I thought this one would look the part of a downed crewchief.
