This is very well painted.
Could I know what are the green colors you are using for these USMC vehicles?
On my side I use Humbrol matt black priming, then Vallejo Model Color Colour 70898 Dark Sea Blue 048, then highlight with AK Interactive US Olive Drab Vietnam. And for the mud I think I will use Pebeo MAT PUB burnt sienna, then Pebeo matt cinnamon and then taupe.

I tried a couple of Humbrol sprays, came out a tad too olive for my taste - looked quite Army, whereas the Marine paintjobs looked darker to me.
Ended up going with Tamiya TS-61 'Nato green' over a black primer, touched up with Vallejo 'reflective green', which is a pretty good match. Then a mix of 'reflective green' and 'russian uniform', for edge highlights. Before hiding the whole thing with Mig pigments (european earth & african earth approx 50/50).

M50 'Ontos'.

That's absolutely brilliant. Colour looks spot on for USMC green too.

Thanks guys.
Looking at the pictures, I can see how the flash has shown up the way the varnish has dryed slightly cloudy along the edges of hatches and in the recesses. Couldn't see it before, so have gone over those bits with a brown wash applied with a tiny brush and all seems to have magically gone away...

Got rid of the cloudy varnish in the recesses and added some soot to exhaust, barrels etc...

The result is splendid. The weathering is perfect and the vehicle matches the style of your figs. So everything is on way for a splendid collection. Your formula of the USMC green in Vietnam is the good one for me. On my side I have not finished the weathering with the palette I have chosen (http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/42/15251-261119082939.jpeg) but I will consider trying the pigments you have used. The rendering is very very nice.

@ Richard MARQUIS:  Thanks very much.
The thing I like about these pigments is you can just chuck them on dry, move them around with a brush; dilute down with water and get them into all the recessess then once dry rub of any excess with a finger. When happy with the result fix them in place.

Like the picture you sent, where did you source all the stowage from?

Truly superb mouth watering work.

Re the powder pigments I was given a tip recently that instead of the fixer white spirit works exactly the same. Not tried it so don't balme me  ;)

The other problem I used to have is waiting for them to dry to see the effect. I use a hair dryer to dry them quicker so I can keep working on them.

Thank you for all these tips.
@Ash: for the stowage, at it is a Corgi Patton, it has already some (extra tracks, 40mm Bofors ammo boxes) (http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/42/15251-251119100801-42529492.jpeg) . Other stowage is from 1/48 BlackDog sets (crates, jerrycans, bags, blankets), sand bag is made with Fimo paste, as the Coca Cola cooler. The US army cooler is scratch built (as you can see here too: http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/41/15251-151019195937-414091263.jpeg it is just a small piece of plastic agenda cover with the right texture that is rolled).
But if a manufacturer is ready to produce some coolers, Bofors ammo boxes and other metal crates and ammo boxes at 1/56, 1/50 or 1/48 to fit the Vietnam era vehicles, it will be great...
