Yeah Germany seems to have been the worst / most thorough at this. Better than Sweden who just send them back  lol

Miniaturicam have an order just about to land and Tabletopper have pretty much the complete range in stock and another order just about to leave.

They do? :0 Oh god, thanks for notifying! And yeah Ash, I would totally agree, the miniatures look ace, and moreso with paint on. Really pushes the sculpting to the level it deserves.

Guys, feel free. I have no problem with interesting info being posted here. (Ooh, deja vu, I think I posted that somewhere else recently)

Salvaged enough of a chopped up NVA to add another 'spider hole', + another couple of tank riders.

Great work on the faces of these tank riders! They look like they gauge the side of the track for possible ambushes.

Very nice (perhaps I need to add a second HMG to my NVA with the shield!).

You do some fine work, Ash.  When I finally start my 28mm Vietnam stuff, I hope it measures up!  :)

Thanks majorsmith; It's a great set.

Very nice (perhaps I need to add a second HMG to my NVA with the shield!).

Cheers, the gun shield was a bit of an afterthought, happened to have an offcut of styrene that was a purfect fit. The crap on my desk is making the descisions for me now...

It's a nicely cast set, got some great faces and the gun is excellent.
Jungle pieces are something I need more of, just can't quite find the enthusiasm to face all that plastic bamboo.

Thanks Jim, look forward to seeing those.

Got around to buying a replacement 105mm from Warlord. It is a little bit chunkier than the Westwind version (I stuck bigger wheels on the Westwind), but not a lot in it.

Nice picrure in John Stryker Meyer's book 'Across The Fence' of slightly battered US 3/4 ton truck that was a FOB run around vehicle.
Got one from Warlord at the same time as the Howitzer. It's a tad on the petite side, but chopped it up anyway and will add to the base pieces as a bit of scenery.

Sounds like I may have to build another gun pit...

Which model of gun are you planning; M101 (M2A1) or the M102?
Personal preference would be an M101 (would work for WW2 & Korea).

These may be of interest.
