Log Cabins from Frontline
« on: 20 June 2009, 08:56:36 PM »
Here are some shots of 2 Frontline cabins I painted. They're coverted a bit, I replaced the original chimneys with ones of my own (made from foam board):

Great job. Are they resin or plastic?

Thanks, Tim. They're resin and in 28mm naturally.

Here's a picture of an unpainted cabin with the original chimney at the side:

Nice.  :D  How do they scale next to figures?

That looks very good. I might have to give that a shot.  ;)

The roof of the cabin lifts off, doesn't it?

Ray, Frontline scales pretty good to the 25-28mm end of the spectrum, perhaps a tad small for 28-32mm size, but not too bad for them either. This applies to their entire 28mm WW range, I think. I have tried to avoid any minis close to 30mm anyways. Here's a shot of a cabin with an Old Glory Indian, a Foundry cowboy, and OOP(?) Westwind Indian:

Very nice :) It looks the part. I like your choice of wood colours.

I always did like Frontline's terrain.  Their interior sets are amazing... :o

Wow, great cabin!

I may have to get some and the fort now. . . Lowtardog, do you have any pics of the cabin?

I LOVE the interior sets as well.  I have a TON but none painted yet. . . they are on my list, though!

Great looking job...very rustic looking. I also appreciate the size comparison using well known figures as well as a peek inside the building!! Keep up the great work!!
