Indian Mutiny revisited - images of testgame added (04-07-2019)

Recently purchased a lot of Indian Mutiny figures from Iron Duke Miniatures and Mutineer Miniatures. Both are a pleasure to paint, and go well together with Iron Duke being a fraction smaller.
More reinforcements from Iron Duke are in the mail.
I plan to use my own tweaked versions of both the Sharp Practice and Fistful of Lead rules.
For SP each unit is a skirmish unit, so no line troops, which makes movement so much faster. Badmashes are still mass troops, but only 8 men instead of 12.
For Fistful of Lead, I have gone with two troop types heroes and groups. Heroes function like the normal rules, but groups will be 6-8 men strong and each mini will only have one wound. I love the tactical aspect that the card mechanics give, but I love to have small units on the table, so I hope this will work.
Here are some pictures of the minis - I hope you like them.

Looking good. I hope you have fun with your games, and that you'll maybe post some more pics here when you do.

Very cool! Another free painting guide for my own Indian Mutiny figures - if I ever get around to painting them!
Rummaged around in their boxes and found a couple of fugitive bactrian camels that have been moved over to the Boxer rebellion 'atmospherics' where they reside more properly.

Before painting the figures I scratch built some Indian huts that hopefully will add some Indian flavor to the tabletop.

Huts look very good. especially like the colour! Just in case you're looking for some more and don't want to scratch-build them

Testgame of our tweaked Fistful of Lead rules - lots of fun and more rules were adjusted.
