The Napoleonic cavalry (Hussars?) look spectacular. I shall look forward to the finished unit.

Those buildings and staff cars look really sharp! I particularly like the effect you achieved on the log structures, it captures the aged/weathered wood look well.

I've just been going through this thread. Amazing work on those old goblin models and the highlighting on those WW2 Polish vehicles is fantastic.

I agree, there’s a lot of beautiful work in this thread. I like the edge highlighting on the WW2 vehicles, it helps make their shapes distinguishable especially on the camouflaged ones. I do something similar on my 6mm sized WW2 to help them “pop”.

Batu, I don’t have any pics of my 6mm stuff online at the moment. I’ll take a few pics soon and put them in a thread here on LAF. It might be a couple of days before I get to it. I’ll provide a link.

great stuff.

and agreed on the edge highlighting. I'm increasingly thinking it's a necessity, one way or another, for figures etc to really come across well in your average table-top lighting situation.

Batu,

My WW2 post showing edge highlighting on my 6mm stuff is here: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=132936.msg1688470#msg1688470

The pics aren't as good as yours in this thread, but I hope the edge-highlighting effect shows up!
