Few years back I found some 28mm characters from the series Lost. They had different names presumably due to copyright.

Can anyone remember who made them. Cheers
if memory serves croocked dice bought them from the apocalypse isles range. Might ask them if they are planning on releasing them soon

Trying to find 28mm modern U.K. police officers without firearms or riot uniforms.
Found some nice figures from No Go Zone and Urban beat, but neither company seems to exist anymore.
Also looking for paramedics or ambulance crew.
Can anyone help.

On Warmacre - YMMV.

A Warmacre (No Go Zone) policeman, KillerB Northern detective, CD Man From 3000, Offensive Miniatures SWAT and an Offensive Miniatures Riot policeman.

Depends on how modern you want - Metvests for that "Rivers of London" look?

Crooked Dice Minions might fit for medics etc.

Just a tip. You can expand the range of civilian figures a bit by using some of the 1/50 plastic architectural figures you find in art shops. As these are properly scaled, ie tall and slender, you do need to carry out a little surgery, trimming a millimetre or two just above the knee to get the to match your typical gaming figure. Female figures in skirts are the easiest,  as it gives you a natural line to cut and the skirt naturally disguises your surgery.

The detail can be a little soft but often they have poses you won’t find in wargaming minis.

In similar vein, surgery on 1/48 hard plastic figures can yield good results. The Hasegawa US ground crew kits have plenty of useful figures in overalls, shirts and trousers with bare heads and ball caps.

This started as the bright blue pond/lake from battlefield in a box.

Problem was I applied the liquid water to thickly. Took over 4 months to set properly.
Then I forgot about it. So the base started to curl.
Tried bending back, but started to crack water effect. Now weighted down with heavy object, see if that works.

A few years ago, I remember finding a site that did transfers for U.K. emergency vehicles.

I need to covert white ambulance into a St. John’s one. 28mm scale.

There are a number of places that do transfers for 1/43 scale vehicles, I do not have the links to hand.

You may want plain Battenburg (vanilla and lime flavour, not vanilla and blueberry) if you are using smaller scale vehicles.
