Cromwell with camouflage netting
«
on:

What started out as an experiment using a cheap Armourfast Cromwell to try a method for making camouflage netting, eventually turned into a bit of distraction and a full build and paint job. This was mainly because I was so pleased with the results with the netting and so it seemed a shame not to finish the model off. Here are some pictures and I've put together a step by step tutorial of the build here

Lovely finish. I rather like that. Wish you had written the blogpost before I painted my 1/56 Cromwell though

Very nice work on that.
Nice painting as well.
Coincidentally, I have just got round to almost finishing painting a PSC Cromwell with Greenstuff netting I started in January 2018.

That looks pretty awesome! I cheated by buying the burlap replacement turret for my 1:48 Cromwell from eBay.
