Thanks Syrinx. Any enormous gaps on your shelves crying out for
things made out of rubbish & reject bits? :D

Mine is wonderful, but I too would not push the point.
2023 will (hopefully) be a better year. Backlogs will be cleared &
projects completed.
P.S. Those that know me will have heard all of that before, many times. lol lol lol

That tower keep reminds me of the one that came in the BattleMasters game. Cracking addition.

Thanks Golgotha. Takes up little shelf space, but I
can find various uses for it.

Since we just jointly spent her summer holiday clearing the basement, crawlspace and closets of years of family clothes, possessions and what not... time to enjoy the Feng Shui of this new clean orderly house is required.  No doubt the holidays (and visiting family) will shatter this new found balance but for now I am postponing any hobby additions.  Of course I must admit to sneaking in a big order from Crooked Dice before I began selling off the old lead pile of dead army projects.

Relax & enjoy the moment. Over here we have 'Blue Plaques' (Put on buildings to commemorate
historical events) & a friend (Flatpack of this Parish) put one up in his Wargaming shed for a
mutual buddy. It 'commemorates' Cunningham Corner & that is where Cunningham sits at all
our games. I suggest you get one (Available from the internet) that says something like, '29th
October 2022, for one brief moment this house was free from clutter'
 lol lol lol

Been working on a 20mm African village for Flatpack.
Here's the start, which ends with what was my first attempt at
conical thatch. It did not go well; fur came loose in clumps,
as I had cut it into small squares in the hope things would
be easier. Almost nothing for it to hold on to.
To fix that problem I applied LOTS of glue 'washes' & reapplied
the clumps of fur that had come loose. Messy, messy, messy!!!!!
It took an age to clean up & nearly a week to dry. All that for
just two of the huts. Time to sit down with a nice cuppa & rethink. ::)

The other huts got a much quicker style of thatch. Not as nice as the fur,
but I think they pass muster. It also allowed me to finish the village before
Christmas!

...and the 'finished' village.
I had hoped to add some pots outside some of the huts.
Flatpack did some lovely ones outside his Vietnam Hootches.
It involves supergluing a VERY small ring (Used in jewelry making)
to the top of a bead. I went to the local craft store & purchased the same.

Honest I have not lost them! They ARE somewhere in my room, but the
rings are only 2 or 3 millimeters in diameter.
 :-[ >:( :o
Flatpack will do them better anyway. :)

Ta David. The two part idea was nicked from your two part field.
Bob can have:-
One big village anywhere on the table,
two fronts of villages on the edges of the table, or
an intact half on a table edge at the start of a game, then,
when the RPGs start flying, replace it with the damaged half.
 :D

Bob is chuffed.
Great job there Pete.
Much appreciated.
It’s nice to give credit, where it’s due.
Even though I had some of the components, I would have never got round to it.
You’ve saved me a job there mate.
Flat pack will be moving into the village….eventually.
