Great Looking plants Pete - and very well photographed on those backgrounds - very enigmatic / cinematic - and I got the pleasure of seeing them on the wargames table!!
Elizabethans coming on nicely - replete with dice trays.
Thank you very much for immersing me in AK47 :-) and for the time and effort spent in putting together that force - not to mention the unit ids and boxing. I've gone and got the rules now. My beloved was not too sure about being called a tank :-) -"so I am a tank now am I".  Lol - never did  get wargaming.

Point out to her that military men often name their tank/plane/MG etc after their beloved. To remind them of home. :)

As part of a 'Job Lot' off e-bay I became the owner of, what I assume to
be figures from a Mythical Egyptian American football team??? ??? ???

As they are Resin, & were mixed in with metal figures, repairs were needed.
I've done that, then painted them up to be 'gods' for use in my 'Dust (Frost) Grave games.

Nice repair work.  They look great.  An ancient Egyptian mythological origin to the NFL would explain some of the officiating issues we see.

and about half of those relate to the size of, ball, goal & pitch.  lol lol lol
Doesn't stop professional footballers not knowing the few rules that effect the actual game.

Thanks David. I think the female castings are the best of the group.

Continuing to use up bits around the work-space.
This time I used:-
A couple of broken chess pieces (King & a pawn),
Some miscast 3D building bits (got cheap off internet. I wish it was easier to get stuff like this)
A few rectangular card bases a friend gave me (Thanks Garry), &
an upturned Tea-Light holder.

I hope it will do service as a long abandoned Irish Temple.
What do YOU think?

True Syrinx, I always keep an eye out in Charity shops etc. for broken statues  material.
Small ornaments, incomplete Chess sets etc.
I picked up an incomplete 'Ancient Egyptian' chess set dirt cheap as it was missing two peices.
Will yield up a load of statues (when I get around to working on them  lol)

In the meantime, looking again at the pictures of the Irish Temple, it dawned on me...
no overall view of the piece. :?
so here are some pictures to rectify that.
By the way the base was an offcut of MDF, I just champhered the edge.
